The expectations for Saleem Movie was high because of the great hit NAAN (the debut movie of actor cum music director vijay antony).  Vijay Antony as Salim plays a doctor in this film, who follows all rules and regulations trying to be a perfect and flawless man.  His well wisher helps gets him a bride Nisha (Aksha Pardasany) who is quiet opposite to his character.  Both gets engaged and the marriage is finalized.

After their engagement, things do not work well personally as well as officially.  The only reason for his fall out in life is being too honest which doesn't work at many places.    At one point of time, his fiancee call off their marriage and he gets sacked from his hospital. 

Now what happens next is the second half and climax.  The second half moves very racy and we cannot predict what is going to happen next nor why is doing what?

Watch out the movie in theater to enjoy the thrill elements in movie without knowing the story from people who has already watched the movie.   You will surely enjoy the movie.

The camera work is good and the background music plays a vital role in the movie.  Vijay Antony has used the same theme music which he has used in NAAN.   The music adds more pace to the movie.

Negative:

Heroine is the wrong choice, cinematic and boring first few minutes

What could have been done better?

They should have used some other heroine and made the first few minutes realistic. The first few minutes where the heroine was introduced and the following scenes are very cinematic and we have seen such scenes many times in many movies 15 years back.  The climax could have been more logical.  Though many cannot guess the climax, i was able to predict the climax perfectly.  Should have paid attention to climax.


Over all Verdict of Salim: Can watch once without any expecation

The movie is actually above average man.  good attempt by vijay antony. i would give 3 stars for this movie
