Even though Pallavi Sharda's last film Hawaizaada may not have done well at the box-office, that hasn't deterred this girl's spirit. Pallavi, who has already worked with international actors like Nicole Kidman, Dev Patel and Rooney Mara in Garth Davis' Hollywood flick Lion, will now be seen with the Irish heartthrob Jonathan Rhys Meyers (best known for the historical fiction TV series The Tudors) in a film titled Shambhala.

Shambhala is basically a survivalist drama, which has been written and directed by Australian filmmaker Summer Nicks. It's a film that will showcase the journey of a survivor of a plane crash (the role will be played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers). Speaking about her role in the film, Pallavi Sharda said that she will be seen playing the role of Urdu speaking Nadia, who has an extremely strong character and who dares to defy the social norms and traditions. She added that she has never played such a role before. She also added that, even though the film is set in the Hindu Kush mountain range in Northern Pakistan, it will be shot in North India.

Besides Pallavi Sharda and Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the film will also feature the likes of Akshay Kumar (of Homeland fame), Jonathan and also Kabir Singh.
