Recently in a popular television show, Gautham Vasudev Menon has revealed few things that many did not know.  We all know his debut movie Minnalae was a great love story and it was very stylish.  But it was not liked by Manirathnam.  Madhavan asked gautham menon to narrate the story to Mani Rathnam, just to make sure the subject is good.  But manirathnam has said he doesn't like the film it seems.  This was said by Gautham Menon himself.  But gautham also said may be manirathnam didn't like because he didn't wanted minnalae to be his debut.  Instead Khaaka Khaaka should have been a debut.  Anyway all was well and the movie became a super hit.  Gautham also said he is interested to work with Manirathnam as as associate director even now.  This shows that he is a hard core fan of Manirathnam. 

Yes it is true, after manirathnam who does movie with reality is gautham menon.  Hope Gautham's dream comes true one day.
