I personally like Kabali very much compared to Kaala... Atleast Kabali had more Fan Moments compared to Kaala.  I wouldn't say kaala is a bad film. But it has showcased only the performance scope for rajini.  It would have been better if at least 3 or 4 fan moments(mass scenes) were added to Kaala. 


Kaala is a good film. But no Rajini elements in it. It is a pure 100 percent Ranjith's film.  Performance wise, rajini has done a commendable job. Especially the romance portions are awesome.  Eswari Rao deserves a special credit. She lived the role.  Nana Patekar has done superb.  No can ever do a better performance than him.  Santosh Narayanan's music goes well with the film.  Over all, i like the film. But i liked kabali very much compared to Kaala.
