AR Rahman announced his next hindi film with Rhea Kapoor

AR Rahman, today (27th June) announced that he will be doing a Hindi film with Rhea Kapoor under Virgin production banner.


AR Rahman also shared a photograph which features him alongside the maverick lyricist Mehboob Kotwal, who penned the lyrics for the blockbuster 1995 Hindi album Rangeela. The duo later worked on a handful of projects like Bombay (Hindi), Daud, Vande Mataram, Yuva etc.

They last collaborated for Dil Ne Jise Apna Kaha in 2006. Looks like the combo who churned out some amazing songs are coming together again for this untitled project directed by debutant Karan Boolani.
