Cast: Sundar C, Vinay, Hansika Motwani, Andrea Jeremiah, Raai Laxmi, Santhanam, Kovai Sarala, Saravanan and others...

Director: Sundar C

Music Director (Songs): Bharathwaj

Music Director (Background Score): Karthik Raja

Producer: D. Dinesh Karthik

Plot: Vinay and his family tries to sell their old palace and later discovers it is a haunted palace.  How they get rid of the ghost is the story.

The film starts with Saravanan (Paruthiveeran fame) making arrangements for Vinay's family to stay in an old palace which they want to sell.  The family comprises of Vinay, Andrea (Vinay's Wife), Kovai Sarala, Manobala, Raai Laxmi and others.  Within few minutes every one except Vinay finds something haunting in the palace.  That shows the brilliance of the director where he discloses the plot without wasting the time.  In the first half a comedy track of Santhanam is included to fulfill the comedy quotient.  The first half is quiet interesting where we can enjoy scary scenes as well as comedy.  Just few minutes before the interval block, we come to know who is the ghost lingering in that palace. Since we know who the ghost is, we loose interest in the second half.  The second half shows the flash back (why the ghost lingers in palace) and how Sundar C gets the ghost rid of the palace.

What should have been avoided?

1) Actresses comes from bath and the towel slips.  The hero sees her naked by sitting below the cot.  We have seen such scenes in many movies including Sundar C's movie earlier.  I feel such scenes are unwanted in this trend.

2) We have seen many horror movies which have graphics like (Hand comes out of wall, ghost face shown scary, once the ghost gets into a person (he/she) flies).  Are these kind of graphics really required for this trend?  It is really boring to watch the same stuffs again.  Should have avoided those VFX and graphic works and made it more realistic.

Plus: Santhanam's Comedy and First Half
Minus: Lagging Second Half and Unwanted Graphics

Overall the first half is okay and the second half looks like the Amman movies (with full graphics) of olden age.

Rating : 2 / 5
